Marquise has created his own niche in the comedic realm by shaping his style around the nature of his laid back personality. He largely bases material off of personal experiences, utilizing stories punctuated with bursts of humor and “goofy” undertones involving himself and his family and friends. He began performing at clubs in the St. Louis area at the age of seventeen. The Funny Bone, Comedy Forum, and The Soulard Café were some of the local spots that he frequented until the age of 21. He has since been tapped as a featured talent of local underground production powerhouse, and soon-to-be venue, No Name Comix, all while becoming a staple at local universities and clubs, such as The House of Comedy, where he opened for the likes of Bill Bellamy, Corey Holcomb, Big Jay Oakerson, and Gary Owens.
